Today’s guest spot is reserved for our bubbly U.S. Air Force Second Lieutenant Cammie Quinn.
Cammie grew up in a dusty town in Lubbock, Texas and attended her hometown college of Texas Tech.
After graduating, she was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps, and now lives in Vass, N.C. in a self-described “sick lake house,” while stationed at Pope Air Force Base.
When Cammie leaves DINFOS, she’ll be moving on to work at the 43rd Airlift Wing as a part of their wing staff, but I’ve heard through the grapevine that all the cool kids hang their hat at the 2nd.
Cammie is sure to greet us with a big “good morning everybody!” each and every day. All the morning people in the class welcome her Esprit de corps…notice I said morning people?
All kidding aside, she has a great attitude and I’ve never seen her bummed about anything, which I think is a good way to be.
Next up, the Army, hooah!

Dig ths one…really captures personality, the way you had her looking off like that. Good job, man!

Really enjoying the portraits, Nick. Could you post a couple pictures of lighting your setup for these shots?

Hey thanks guys! I really appreciate all your great comments.
Pat, here’s the lighting setup I used (http://bit.ly/aYS5Ws). I forgot to include that I had my subject hold the reflector in her lap to provide fill light under her eyes, nose and neck.
